Materials -Comprise a wide range of metal and non metals which must be operated upon to from the end product .

whether this end product is a bridge ,a computer ,a space vehicle or  an automobile ,an engineer must  have an intimate knowledge of the properties and behavioural characteristics of the materials he intends to use.

the understanding of the properties of materials is highly essential  because without information and knowledge ,the manufacturing process may be an expensive and complex task which negates the profit and utility of the end product.   

Material Science:- Material science is the branch of science study ,material is the something the consists of matter .material is the stuff of which something is made.

Is based on the physics and chemistry  of  the internal structure of the materials.

Investigation relationship existing between the structure of the materials and their properties .
